Dusty Dave is a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle with many art car lives. His first incarnation was The Pumpkin Bug created by Art Car Park Owner Ken Crimmins.

artists working Pictured here is Dusty Dave, the Skull Car purchased in 1995 by Personal Intelligence Systems (now Pineapple Publishing) and transformed by Penny Smith and Shelley Buschur for the Halloween "Scare on the Square" in Downtown Houston.

In 1996, Dusty Dave was transformed again by artist Tom Kennedy, creator of Ripper the Friendly Shark. Now he is known as "Dusty Dave the Dolphin."
