Planet Karmann is a 1971 Karmann Ghia convertible with a vivid imagination. Covered with fluorescent stylized nudes, stars and planets, Karmann embodies spirituality, creativity and just good plain fun!

For special occasions like parades, Karmann and her creator Shelley Buschur go all out. Their full costume includes fluorescent hair and blue skin for Shelley and a floating styrofoam globe for the car.

Planet Karmann is dedicated to the memory of a cool young woman named Trecia Fulce, who recently died of AIDS.

Shelley is currently looking for a vehicle to create her next art car character.
